Production Practices

Hogs

We use a three-breed cross-bred plan for reproductive efficiency and exceptional meat quality.  Our hogs are fed a balanced diet of corn, soymeal, and mineral vitamin supplements.  The corn we use is grown on the farm.  The hogs are also raised in a temperature controlled and clean environment with plenty of room to move around.

Beef Cattle

Our Angus Cows are raised in an open pasture.  They also have full access to hay and vitamin/ mineral blocks.  Calving is in the late spring to early summer to meet yearly market cycles.  The steers are finished on grass, hay, and grain.

All Hogs and Cattle receive appropriate vaccinations and are raised Anti-biotic and Artificial Hormone Free.
